Heather had a loose roller.

"...couldn't have done it without your help." I took the machine apart a little further and it seems the bolt that holds the rear roller is not catching because the back bumper that runs across the belt is broken where you would screw the bolt into.

I am now in search for a replacement part. You have been very helpful so far and I truly appreciate the follow up. Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks Paul! I fixed my treadmill! Before I fixed it, the motor ran and the walking belt moved, but as soon as you stepped on it, the walking belt stopped.

It had a loose motor belt - once I tightened it, it worked normally.

Thanks for your advice!

--Tom Barry
Treadmill Owner

Tom could have spent a lot of money to have someone come out and tighten the belt. Instead he saved the money he would have spent on repairs and used it for more important things.
